The concept of turning a smartphone into a functional Game Boy has been around for several years now, but a new case from a company called Wanle seems to have gotten as close as possible by attaching a portable game console to the back of an iPhone. Dubbed the “Wanle Gamers Console For iPhone,” the case unveiled at tech event ideas, features its own LCD screen, power supply, and comes loaded with 10 games, all paired with physical buttons in the traditional Game Boy layout.

The Gameboy iPhone Case Design

This is a versatile and pretty fun protective case that’s available in multiple models for iPhone 6/6S/6/6S Plus, iPhone 7/7 Plus and iPhone 8/8 Plus. As we can see from the images, the iPhone case features an integrated handheld gaming console on the back, and the rectangular LED screen and iconic key layout deliver a classic Gameboy-like design. Of course, using the D-pad and two firing buttons, you can enjoy many built-in video games including Tetris, Tank Battle, and more.

The Gameboy iPhone case is made of ABS, so it’s durable enough to protect your phone from bumps and scratches, and the custom cutouts let you access to all iPhone buttons and ports with ease. In addition, the integrated gaming device is powered by a replaceable button cell, so you don’t worry about it using the battery life of your phone.

The Gameboy iPhone Case Price

The Gameboy iPhone Case is available right now in both black and white options for a discounted price of $24.95. The company’s website says the regular retail price is $79.95. If you’re really interested in this new iPhone case and want to grab it, then jump to Amazon for its more details.
